Laboratory
Laboratory “Medilab” is the first private independent medical diagnostic laboratory in Veliko Tarnovo, established in 1997. Registered in 2000 with the RCH.
Since the beginning of 2010, the laboratory has significantly expanded its activities, covering a number of new tests. Modern devices have been put into operation, significantly improving the quality and reliability of the diagnostic process. Expansion of activities in the immunological, microbiological and parasitological sectors is imminent.
A computer system has been introduced, allowing for faster and higher-quality processing of information, as well as direct access for patients and doctors to their tests.
The laboratory works together with the German laboratory chain Synlab (www.synlab.de) and with their representatives in Bulgaria – “Synlab Bulgaria”.

Reproductive diagnostics
Some of the tests offered by the laboratory are unique for the region and are offered for the first time in Veliko Tarnovo. For example, reproductive diagnostics, with an assessment of the reproductive risk of developing certain genetic malformations in the fetus, in pregnant women in the first and second trimester of pregnancy. For the first time, the allergy tests of “Euroimun” are also offered, which are of very high quality and high diagnostic reliability.
